Care Instructions for Serrated Blades

After every use the blade should be wiped clean and sprayed with a permanent lubricant for example INOX MX3 which is what i use (INOX Store Locator, Sold in Australia, Canada, Dutch Caribbean, Mexico, New Zealand, Puerto Rico, United Kingdom, and United States) not WD40 or RP7 (non-permanent lubricants). The blade should be sharpened with a sharpening stone (wet stone) and water, on the back side of the blade opposite to the serrations, do not use a file or grinder, the blade must be oiled after sharpening.

Carbon steel and stainless steel have the same instructions but more care should be taken for carbon steel as it will rust very easily.

(Using a grinder will alter the steel structure by heating it up)
